I created a 3D ANAGLYPH video based on the game “Skyrim” by using the latest 3D software technology Cyberlink PowerDirector.

Time effort to create this video: 2 hours

ATTENTION: You need to use 3D ANAGLYPH GLASSES to get a 3D effect on your monitor otherwise you will see red/blue ghosting effects.

What is ANAGLYPH 3D?
*********************
Anaglyph is a type of stereo 3D image created from two cameras taken approximately 2.5 inches apart, the center distance typically between human eyes. The Red color field of the left photo is combined with that of the right photo in such a way as to create the illusion of depth.

Viewing an anaglyph 3D stereo image is easy. All you need is a Red filter over your left eye and a Cyan filter over the right eye (3D ANAGLYPH GLASSES RED/CYAN).
Now, once you have the filters over your eyes, just relax and allow yourself time to get into the picture. Your eyes will cross slightly as the image comes into 3D focus.

  2. I played over 1000 hours like this with Nvidia 3D Vision Discover + a mod from Helixmod. Unfortunaltely Nvidia stopped to support 3D Vision. It is only avaiable up to the driver 418.91

  3. Excellent video; however, my cheap 3d glasses I bought from Aliexpress show both the cyan and red parts through the red lens. Wouldn't recommend them.

  4. Update: parts of this video reach beyond the maximum convergence point of my RealGlyph Anaglyph 3D Glasses unless I hold my laptop with the screen about 2'06" away from me. The lenses were converted with two solid coats of permanent marker on each side, so that may explain part of my issue. I think the polarization of the lenses may have something to do with it, as well.

  5. I'm watching this video with an old pair of RealD 3D Glasses that I converted to Red-Cyan Anaglyph 3D Glasses. I call them RealGlyph Anaglyph 3D Glasses.

  6. Did you convert the raw Skyrim footage to 3d anaglyph with video converter or did you create a mod that converts Skyrim to 3d anaglyph?
